Geofenced QR check-in, tamper-evident records, and one-way Moodle gradebook sync — so every session is verifiable, every report defensible, and every export ready for audit.
Four systems working as one — capture, verify, grade, and report, with an audit trail behind every number.
QR check-in, verified on the spot
Rotating QR codes and a projector-ready display mean attendees check in on their own devices in seconds. Roll-call, proxy, and remote/hybrid modes cover every room.
Rotating codes resist screenshot-sharing
Self-service kiosk for walk-ups
Anonymous headcount for large events
Moodle activities, pulled into one gradebook
Every gradable activity built on Moodle for a course flows in automatically, grouped by category, alongside the attendance count — one wide matrix, exportable to CSV or Excel.
One-way sync keeps Moodle the source of truth
Grouped by category with per-student stats
Download all marks as CSV or Excel
Geofence integrity, mapped
Every located check-in is plotted against the session's geofence. Off-site scans are flagged and held out of attendance until a manager approves — nothing counts until it's verified.
Per-pin inside / off-site status
Bulk-approve or export off-site scans
Device-share flags for shared phones
Reports and minutes, audit-ready
Cumulative reports, hours and quorum tracking, CPD records, and a signature-ready attendance sheet for minutes — exportable as PDF, CSV, or Excel on demand.
Quorum met / not met at a glance
CPD & hours reports per member
Signature-ready minutes sheet
How it works
Three steps to a verified record
1
Open a session
Pick the activity, set the geofence and rotation, and project the QR — or share a kiosk link.
2
Attendees check in
They scan on their own device; location is checked against the geofence and flagged if off-site.
3
Grades & reports sync
Attendance lands in the gradebook next to Moodle activities, ready to export for audit.

FAQ
Questions, answered
How does geofence verification work?
Each session can carry a geofence. When an attendee checks in, their location is compared against it — anything outside is flagged as off-site and held out of the count until a manager approves it.
Is the Moodle sync two-way?
No — it's one-way. Moodle stays the source of truth; Vemhere pulls in every gradable activity for a course so you get one combined gradebook with attendance alongside, exportable to CSV or Excel.
Can attendees share a QR to cheat?
Codes rotate on a configurable interval, geofence checks catch off-site scans, and device-share detection flags the same device marking multiple people — so a passed-around code doesn't slip through.
What can I export for an audit?
PDF session reports, a signature-ready attendance sheet for minutes, cumulative and hours/quorum/CPD reports, and the full gradebook as CSV or Excel for your own analysis.
How do people sign in?
Everyone signs in with Vem-Portal — one account across every Vem app.
